College Announces Decision Regarding Dr. Enyinnaya Ezema

A Hearing Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia has released its disposition in the case of Dr. Enyiannaya Ezema, pursuant to Sections 53 and 115 of the Nova Scotia Medical Act.

On September 17, 2017, the Committee found Dr. Ezema guilty of professional misconduct having breached professional and/or sexual boundaries arising from inappropriate comments and conduct toward two professional colleagues. The Hearing Committee resumed January, 2018 to hear submissions prepared by the College and counsel for Dr. Ezema regarding the penalty to be imposed. The Hearing Committee’s decision and disposition were released July 3, 2018 and are provided below.
