Are you a member of the public?
The College’s Public Support Advisor, a trained social worker, is available to discuss concerns about the care provided by licensed physicians in Nova Scotia. They can:
- provide information regarding the process for making medical records requests from a former physician;
- answer questions regarding College standards and guidelines; and
- help to navigate the College’s complaint process.
The College is unable to assist with access to care including access to test results or specialist referrals. If you are seeking information regarding wait times for referrals or various hospital procedures, please visit the Nova Scotia Wait Times website.

The only in-person service available at the College is the provision of a signature & seal. If you require this service, please call ahead to make an appointment to ensure availability of staff.
The College provides all other services virtually or by phone.
