Transgender Day of Visibility

International Transgender Day of Visibility (March 31) is dedicated to honouring transgender people and raising awareness of the discrimination faced by this community worldwide while celebrating their contributions to society.
The College in recognizing the International Transgender Day of Visibility acknowledges the important role Nova Scotian physicians play in addressing the healthcare needs of transgender and gender-diverse individuals with dignity and respect. The College also recognizes the vital work of NSH’s prideHealth in improving access to safe care for the transgender and gender-diverse community.
