Preamble At the Registrar's discretion, physicians practising on a Defined licence with Sponsor-only oversight may be eligible for a Restricted licence. A Restricted licence is a long-term, annually renewable licence which does not require ongoing sponsorship. Physicians issued a Restricted licence under this policy may be eligible for a Full licence. Holders of an Academic Licence must meet deliverables of academic activities as set out in the policy for Academic Licensure1. Academic Licensure requires ongoing sponsorship of the Dean.
