Translation of Documents
All documents for registration or licensure in Nova Scotia must be presented in English.
All documents not in English must be accompanied by an original or notarized copy of an official translation. Excluded from this requirement are medical degrees or diplomas issued by a Canadian medical school.
Applications for registration/licensure will not be processed until all officially translated documents are received by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
A translation service is offered through physiciansapply.ca for physicians requiring source verification of their credentials.
