Certificate of Professional Conduct

Important points to remember when requesting a Certificate of Professional Conduct:

  • Read the College’s consent form carefully before signing. It contains a list of information disclosed on a Certificate of Professional Conduct.
  • Complete the entire consent form. An incomplete form will be returned.
  • Enclose the fee. Payment must be received before the Certificate of Professional Conduct can be issued. The College accepts VISA, MasterCard, cheque or money order.
  • Send the completed consent form. The completed consent form can be sent to the College by mail, e-mail or fax.

Processing time from the date the College receives your request is generally five to seven business days. However, processing can take longer in some cases. Please indicate in writing if this is an urgent request, and we will strive to accommodate your request.

The official (original) copy of the Certificate of Professional Conduct will be sent directly to the organization that has requested the Certificate of Professional Conduct.

How to obtain a Certificate of Professional Conduct 

If you are currently registered in a postgraduate training program with Dalhousie University AND you hold a licence in Nova Scotia, the fee will be waived if you require the Certificate of Professional Conduct for elective purposes.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, cheque or money order and must be submitted with the consent form.
