College releases disciplinary decision regarding Dr. Stephen Harley

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia hereby gives notice that in accordance with the agreed terms of a Settlement Agreement approved on December 19, 2008, conditions and restrictions have been placed on the licence of Dr. Harley, including the suspension of Dr. Harley’s narcotics prescribing privileges until October 1, 2009 or such later time as determined by Health Canada.

The College acknowledges that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship.
