Physician health is a priority for the College as we are tasked to ensure patients are receiving competent medical care.
The Canadian Medical Association’s (CMA) 2025 National Physician Health Survey reveals that doctors are still struggling with exhaustion and burnout leading physicians to seek more support.
Physicians seeking support are encouraged to contact the College’s Health and Practice Program. The program provides regular communication with physicians in addition to removing stigmas and providing access to wellness support as Doctors Nova Scotia’s Physician Wellness Navigator Program.
For more information physicians can contact the College’s physician Health and Practice Advisor at: healthandpractice@cpsns.ns.ca.
