Ms. Kemi Olarotimi, Dalhousie Medical Students’ Society appointee, attending the March 2026 Council meeting
The College’s governing Council met on March 27. The Council is composed of physician members elected by registrants and public members appointed by the College through a nominations process. Nova Scotia’s medical school holds a Council seat, and medical learners are represented as observers.
The Council governs the College in the public interest and in accordance with provincial legislation. The 2025 Financial statements prepared by the College’s auditors Doane Grant Thornton were presented and approved by Council.
The Council also recognized the contributions of Ms. Kemi Olarotimi the Dalhousie Medical Students’ Society appointee, as she completes her term at Council.
