The SignPost: March 2024 Issue 4

The SignPost newsletter provides updates and resources to participants who are engaged with the Welcome Collaborative. The Welcome Collaborative is an orientation program designed to support physicians who have trained outside of Canada, have been issued a licence, and are new to practising in Nova Scotia.

In this issue of the SignPost we cover the March Physician Orientation Session, Welcome Collaborative CPD Accreditation, and provide details on the Welcome Collaborative Advisory Council.

The College acknowledges that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We also acknowledge that people of African descent have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years, and we honour and offer gratitude to those ancestors.
