College releases 2014-2016 Strategic Plan

The Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia is pleased to announce its 2014-2016 Strategic Plan. Developed in consultation with the public, College members, and key stakeholders, the plan addresses emerging issues as well as ongoing priorities. College campaign addresses abuse and diversion of prescription pain medication

Halifax – May 1, 2012: The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia today announced a communications campaign that will address the abuse and illegal diversion of prescription pain medication. Entitled “Good Pill, Bad Pill”, the campaign encourages doctors and patients to enter into opioid treatment agreements when medications are prescribed for chronic pain.
