Heartfelt condolences

It is with shock and disbelief that all of us at the College received the news of the tragic, senseless, and devastating loss of life in our province.

We acknowledge with thanks those medical professionals who were called upon to care for those involved and will be called upon in the days and months ahead to help Nova Scotians navigate the way forward.

We offer our sincere and heartfelt condolences.

The College acknowledges that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We also acknowledge that people of African descent have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years, and we honour and offer gratitude to those ancestors.
