The College welcomes today’s announcement by Immigration Minister Lena Diab of a new immigration stream for doctors looking to come to the province. Medical licence and corporation permit renewal was open for the month of November. Renewals received between December 1 and December 31, 2017 are now subject to the following late fees: Medical licence renewal late fee: $462.50 Corporation permit renewal late fee: $25.00 If you are licensed to practise medicine in Nova Scotia, you must renew your medical licence. As per the Nova Scotia Medical Act, a medical licence expires if not renewed by January 1, 2018.
