International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day on March 8^th celebrates the achievements of women while raising awareness about discrimination and inviting us to action to drive gender parity.

Of the 2,923 physicians licensed to practise in the province this year 44% or 1,273 are women. The College recognizes and celebrates the tremendous contribution and leadership of women physicians in Nova Scotia.
