College Announces Decision Regarding Dr. Enyinnaya Ezema

A Hearing Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia has released its disposition in the case of Dr. Enyiannaya Ezema, pursuant to Sections 53 and 115 of the Nova Scotia Medical Act. On September 17, 2017, the Committee found Dr. Ezema guilty of professional misconduct having breached professional and/or sexual boundaries arising from inappropriate comments and conduct toward two professional colleagues. College Announces Decision Regarding Dr. Bradley Atkinson

The College gives notice of a Settlement Agreement reached between the College and Dr. Bradley Atkinson, approved by the Hearing Committee of the College on May 31, 2018. The written decision of the Hearing Committee with reasons for the approval of the Settlement Agreement will be provided when available and published on the College’s website when released. The effect of this Settlement Agreement is to immediately lift the suspension of Dr. Atkinson’s license to practise medicine imposed in June, 2016, permitting him to return to practice under restrictions as listed in the Settlement Agreement.
