A Hearing Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia has accepted a Settlement Agreement advanced by the College and Dr. Robert Wadden and recommended by an Investigation Committee of the College pursuant to section 101 of the regulations under the Medical Act. Dr. Wadden has admitted professional misconduct and has consented to a 6 month period of suspension, a reprimand and conditions on his licence to practice medicine. The agreement states that Dr. Baghaee’s licence to practise medicine was revoked effective March 3, 2015. The agreement also permits Dr. Baghaee to apply for the reinstatement of his Defined Licence, with additional conditions, after the expiration of a minimum period of 3 months, if all criteria for the issuing of a Defined Licence are met. A Hearing Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia has accepted the 2015 Settlement Agreement advanced by the College and Dr. Stephen Harley and recommended by an Investigation Committee of the College pursuant to section 51 of the Medical Act. Dr. Harley has admitted to breaching the 2013 Settlement Agreement with the College and that such breach constitutes professional misconduct within the meaning of the Medical Act. Dr. Harley has consented to the revocation of his licence to practise medicine in Nova Scotia. The revocation is effective as of November 3, 2014, the date when Dr. Harley admitted his breach to the College.
