College Announces Decision Regarding Dr. Agomeze Igwe-Omoke

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia gives notice that a Hearing Committee has issued a decision dated July 16, 2025, accepting a Settlement Agreement under subsection 103(1) of the Medical Act.   In the Settlement Agreement, Dr. Omoke agreed he engaged in professional misconduct in a variety of ways, including by compromising the quality of care by booking too many patients on certain dates, administering his practice in a disorganized and inconsistent manner contrary to applicable standards, and communicating inappropriately with a job applicant and a patient.  Dr. Omoke further admitted that his care did not meet the required standard applicable to [...]

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia hereby gives notice that a consensual reprimand has been agreed upon between the Investigation Committee and Dr. Matsusaki, regarding Dr. Matsusaki’s breach of the College’s requirement to maintain the confidentiality of all materials gathered during the investigation of a complaint.
