Notice Regarding Interim Licence Suspension of Dr. Oluwarotimi Fashoranti

The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Nova Scotia hereby gives notice that pursuant to Section 45 of the Nova Scotia Medical Act, effective 11:59 pm November 12th, 2020 an interim suspension has been placed on the licence of Dr. Oluwarotimi Fashoranti, pending further decision of the Investigation Committee or the Hearing Committee.

College Announces Interim Restrictions on the Medical Licence of Dr. Manivasan Moodley

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia hereby gives notice that pursuant to Section 45 of the Medical Act, the following interim restrictions have been placed on the medical licence of Dr. Manivasan Moodley. Dr. Moodley is required to have an attendant present for all female patient encounters from beginning to end. The attendant must have an unobstructed view of any procedure performed. The attendant will be a regulated healthcare professional, approved by the College. A College sign regarding this requirement is to be placed in all waiting rooms and examination rooms where patients are seen. Dr. Moodley is required to avoid contact with his patients outside the clinical setting.

College Announces Interim Restrictions on the Medical Licence of Dr. Rafid Al-Nassar

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia hereby gives notice that the interim suspension of the medical licence of Dr. Rafid Al-Nassar, pursuant to Section 45 of the Medical Act, has been lifted. The College gives notice that effective immediately, interim restrictions have been placed on the medical licence of Dr. Al-Nassar. Dr. Al-Nassar is required to have a chaperone present for all patient encounters, except those that occur in the operating room. A College sign regarding this requirement is to be placed in all waiting rooms and examination rooms where patients are seen.

Important Notice Regarding Dr. Rafid Al-Nassar

The medical licence of Dr. Rafid Al-Nassar has been suspended, pursuant to Section 45 of the Medical Act, on an interim basis until further notice, effective midnight November 29, 2016.
