Respectful communication
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia is committed to communicating with you in a respectful, professional, and civil manner.
In return, we ask that you communicate with us respectfully. The following types of behaviour toward the College's team members may result in us limiting future communication with you or only responding in writing:
- demeaning or harassing comments
- racist, discriminatory, or obscene language
- sexual harassment
- intimidation, shouting, or threats

College office hours
The only in-person service available at the College is the provision of a signature and seal. If you require this service, please call ahead to make an appointment to ensure availability of staff.
The College provides all other services virtually or by phone.

Our office is open but some staff continue to work remotely. We recommend visitors to the College make an appointment if they wish to meet with staff in-person.
